Day 4 Sept 15 –
LONDON
Woke up at 4:00 AM - sure will be glad when my sleep pattern gets adjusted - and down to breakfast by 7:00. Will didn't make it down until after 8:00 and we were on our way to the British Museum by 9:15.
We walked to the museum since it is only 10 mins away and stopped and talked about some of the town homes along the way and how the were in the 19th & 20th centuries.
We left the Tower around 5:00 and then dropped a group off at St Paul's for evening services, The rest of us came back and 4 of the group decided to go to a local pub for dinner so they could watch the Bronco game. Talk about die hards! We moved dinner back to 8:00 PM so the group can get back in time to eat. I will definitely be ready for bad after that.

While at the museum we had the opportunity to see the Rosetta Stone and some artifacts from Egypt, Assyria & Greece. We definitely could have used more time, but they say it would take going every day for a year to see it all. They have moved the Magna Carta to the National Libfrary, so there were a few things we wanted to see that have been moved.
Lunch was outside the Tower of London where some of us had fish and chips, and, of course Will had a burger and fries,
Visiting the Tower has always been one of the highlights of London. We got to visit the Crown Jewels and then some went into the White Tower to see the collection of Armour through out the centuries. Will also found a friend to talk (or crow) to.
