Day 2  Sept 13 – LONDON

We arrived in London this morning, at 8:15 am, met up with our guide after going through customs and  enjoyed a drive into the city and to our hotel The Thistle Bloomsberry.  The rooms are a little on the small size, but that's not unusual for London.

 We got to the hotel around 11:00 am and we couldn't check in until 2:00 pm so we decided to go get something to eat.  We were told there was a pub a few blocks away, but when we started out it started to rain pretty good.  We decided the French restaurant across the street was looking pretty good.

 We managed to kill a few hours there and then headed back to the hotel.





It's a good thing we did since a couple of teens were having a hard time staying awake.

This evening we will have a meeting at 6:30 and dinner at 7:30.  I think we will all be quite ready for bed.
